After taking two years completely away from the hobby, I returned to my workshop to begin a new ship.

My choice was the Mayflower, primarily because I had access to a full set of plan sheets, and it appeared to be a good project requiring only a moderate degree of complexity.  Turned out to be a good choice as I didn’t realize how rusty my skills had become.

Dug out my tools, dusted them off and began making sawdust.

Actually built her TWICE.  

The first build (foreground), 1:76th scale….

and the larger one (background) 1:60th scale.
